Avoda Dance Company dancers are working on their 2024 service project. This year, we are raising funds for the Heart of Madison Foundation. This non-profit delivers special meals to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta patients and families in the cardiac unit during the holidays, has a scholarship fund for UGA students, and more. We will be raising money through our Nutcracker Tea on November 16th and all donations will be given to the foundation to help purchase and deliver meals to the cardiac patients this holiday season. Any amount can be donated, but we suggest $5 per attendee. Attendees will get to watch a special preview of the Nutcracker Suite, meet and greet with the dancers, learn a Nutcracker themed dance, and enjoy treats. Later, in December, our company dancers are also going to visit patients at CHOA to bring holiday cheer and dancing to the hospital. We are excited to give back through our talents and to inspire our young dancers to help others.
